Burke Heat is a company that has let me run out of oil while on an automated delivery schedule. They have also sent me a bill for a service contract renewal when it was at the end of my first year of a two year prepaid contract. I guess they figure some people don't remember and they pay the bill twice. They also tried to short me on my "first fill" of my new price protection contract. For those of you that don't know, when you sign a price contract you get your "first fill" at a discounted rate. They added about 50 gallons instead of the 150 gallons that would have fit in the tank. Again, I guess they figure that some people won't check. Then when I caught them, they made up some story about the fill whistle not functioning and that they didn't want to overfill my tank. I guess they didn't know that I was home when the truck came and I could clearly hear the fill whistle. Then I had to clear my garage out and let them take up my time to "fix" a non existent problem
