Dr, Douglas Bienstock practices medicine as an old fashioned doctor, not as the young man he is. Caring and friendly you are treated effectively and efficiently for your medical problem. He is not a 15 minutes modern doctor and your out the door. I am an old timer and my other family doctor had a heart attack and died, he used to even make house calls. What a blessing to find this doctor. I pray for him daily that he practices for many years to come. A young doctor with old fashioned practices, the patient first, he's a diamond in the rough. A wonderful, caring doctor very rare in this day and age of the 15 minute doctors visit.Dr. Douglas Bienstock in my opinion even though he's very young he practices medicine like an old fashioned doctor, very rare in this day and age. He takes the time to evaluate the whole person not just the medical issues. He is friendly and caring and he takes care of your medical needs effectively and efficiently pray that he will stay healthy and be around for all of us for many years to come. This is from an old timer who lost her doctor who used to make house calls with a heart attack and I then came to Dr. Bienstock. What a blessing he truly is. 2nd attempt at this. not computer literate. im relatively new to hawthorne(8 months) and i developed painful fluid filled abscess on back . my neighbor advised local doctor doug bienstock and i got appointment within 1 hour of my phone call. spent 10 minutes on paperwork for my 1st visit and waited approx 20 minutes........dr doug and i chatted for half hour while he assessed my painful back. local anesthesia given and he removed the painful fluid sac. aftercare instructions given and he saw me later in week 4 followup. VERY friendly doctor. i think in his forties. he is in no rush. asks questions and answers your questions. good to have him in hawthorne area. i write this because i appreciate him being a normal easy going good guy with excellent doctor knowledge. ok. good health to my neighbors in hawthorne. i think i press submit now. lets see if it works

One of the best family doctors around. He's been my doctor for about 10 years because he is one of those rare finds that shows dedication and puts patient's care and needs in the top priority. He sees you as a whole person, takes the right amount of time to see what's really going on with you (physically, emotionally & mentally) in order to diagnose, treat or reffer you properly. In my experience he's been acurate in his diagnosis and course of treatment. He even follows up to ensure you are getting the right care, something so rare in today's medical industry. A true 5 Stars Doctor!!! I wish there were more doctors like him.
