Founded in 1959, Hawaiian Elementary School provides learning opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade six. The school enrolls more than 500 students. It offers classes in math, language arts, science, social science and reading. Hawaiian Elementary School also has a library that offers a range of books and instructional materials. In addition, the school organizes field trips to science centers and historic locations. It offers student programs related to art, music and physical education. Hawaiian Elementary School maintains a location in Hawaiian Gardens, Calif. The school is a part of the ABC Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle, high and adult schools.
