While they do have great food the service is always slow. I find that sometimes they can even be completely rude. My husband and I go there often but when we take people we warn them ahead of time. One couple that we took asked us how we stand it and we explained that we really do like the food. During the Christmas Holiday the one bartendar was annoyed because he had to get us a gift certificate. At the time there were only seven people in the entire place.

We always enjoy this place. My grandmother LOVES the pizza margarita. She says it is the closest thing she has ever found to what you can get in Italy. I also like the paintings on the wall of local places.

What a Great atmosphere...and right downtown.....Great food and service...
I love this place especially for it's salads. The staff and owners are very friendly and it is a great place to take guests. I live in the Havre De Grace area and it is defintely one of my favorite places to eat.
I have eaten at the Laurrapin 3 times; had 3 different meals and everything was fabulous. The white pizza is the best ever. I really enjoy this place. The staff is friendly and attentive. Love It!
Best restaurant in town!! Hip artsy atmosphere: walls covered with murals, beautifully hand painted tables & copper hammered bar. Delicouse food, wide variety from meatloaf to savory lamb practically falling off the bone (they even do sushi night once a week)! And the people who work there are friendly and unpretentious. Every one is treated well and all are welcome. Only complaint is that on Friday & Saturday nights it is very busy and it can get very loud. I would recommend Laurrapin Grill & St. John's Gourmet (their downstairs take out deli) to all.
THE IRISH DAY IN HdG -- THE WORST FOOD EVER!! - I WENT OUT FOR THE CORNED BEEF & CAB. IT WAS THE WORST FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!! - A FRIEND TOLD ME (LAURRAPIN GRILLE) IN HAVRE de GRACE, WAS PRETTY GOOD SO I TRIED IT ... WHEN I GOT THERE IT HAD 6 SEATED AT THE BAR. FOOD WAS -- COLD & DRIED OUT -- MEAT WAS COLD FROM THE FRIG, DRIED-OUT & OLD, RED BLISS, NEW POTATOES WERE MEDIUM-DARK BROWN INSIDE AND COLD, SO WAS THE CAB. - TURNS OUT IT WAS "LEFTOVERS" FROM FRIDAY! I SENT IT ALL BACK SO THEY COULD TRY AGAIN. - WHEN THE NEW PLATE OF HOT FOOD CAME IT WAS JUST THE SAME OLD FOOD THAT WAS HEATED IN A NUKE FOR 5 MINUTES, SO IT WAS HOT, BUT DRIED OUT EVEN MORE. - THE MEAT NOW LOOKED LIKE OVER COOKED "CORNED BEEF JERKY" and THE SPUDS LIKE "LEATHER GOLF BALLS." ALL OF IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOSSED OUT. - NEVER AGAIN. THIS ONE MAY WELL BE ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE WORST MEALS EVER! ...QUINTESSENTIAL C U I S I N Eby Wilbur M. Reelingepicurean raconteur
