In July an entirely new management team took this facility over, so it's night and day compared to the old owners. Oceanside Hawaii is located less than an hours drive from Honolulu. That could be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective. For those who want their aging parents in a quiet facility close to nature and far from the hustle and bustle, traffic and tourists of the city, this is a good choice. The new facilities have been renovated and they've gone out of their way to create a family atmosphere with friendly staff. Besides being friendly, they have qualified professionals onsite who are RNs (registered nurses) and LPNs (Licensed Practitioner Nurses) so your loved ones are in safe and competent hands. Best of all, because they are located away from the crazy real estate prices of the city, their costs are lower and they pass that on to their clients. Oceanside's prices are almost half that of those in the city. Definitely worth taking a tour to see if this is for your parents.

I visited Oceanside Assisted Living in late September and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the facility was. The pictures I had seen just didn't do justice to the greenery and beauty of Oceanside Hawaii. After having a tour through the facility and meeting the staff I was impressed at how comfortable and well staffed they were for the each residence. The individual apartments were bright, comfortable and all had as sense of "home" to them.

Oceanside Hawaii is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Oahu.The facilities are beautiful and their staff have a wonderful caring manner. We (New York Life) have had several opportunities to do provide workshops for employees wishing to protect their families and secure their financial futures.We have thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. We have upcoming joint events planned with Oceanside in a community outreach effort that offers an opportunity for food, fun, socializing as well as learning. Oceanside has a sincere interest to become a community gathering place as well as a wonderful place to retire.

If you spend even a little bit of time at Oceanside Hawaii, you'll surely notice how the staff truly cares for the residents. There is a sense of family and friendship.

We recently placed dad at the Ponds and found it to be a wonderful place. The staff is very friendly and flexible. The food was great as they gave us a tour and provided lunch while we were visiting. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's like we put dad in a resort with cleaning services, transportation to doctor appointments and 3 meals a day. We are glad to have found a place that was affordable in a great area. Thanks Ponds!!
