General Info
Oak Arbor is a place for transition between primary addiction treatment and day-to-day life after treatment. Founded in 2001 as an extension of our sister program at Clearview Recovery Center, Oak Arbor helps individuals with the completion phase of primary addiction treatment. Our goal is to get our clients back into the community and living independently. Situated on 45 acres just south of Hattiesburg on U.S. Highway 49, Oak Arbor is in a convenient location in the southeastern region of Mississippi. Our comprehensive program provides a safe, alcohol/drug free environment offering independence with support to promote independent living without relapsing into addiction. Oak Arbor's 69-bed unit for males and separate five-bed unit for females are comfortably furnished and decorated to feel like a home away from home. The facility operates a full-service cafeteria and is handicap-accessible. Why select Oak Arbor over another facility? Focus on the individual: We provide a number of levels of care based on each individual's need. Experience and compassion: The staff at Oak Arbor is experienced. We understand addiction and its devastating effect on inviduals, friends and family. Covering the basics: Clients can come to Oak Arbor without a job or transporation and we make sure those needs are met.
