Okay staff, but when a customers credit/debit card doesn't work just don't send the customer away. I had a $38.81 order and my debit card wasn't working, so I was sent to the customer service desk, and then being told contact my bank we can't override it or do anything else. I of course didn't have another payment, so I left all those groceries behind. As it turns out, I had $32.00 in my account. WOW!! a $5.00 difference?? If the employees told me to go for a lower payment than I would've been happy and it wouldn't be a waste of a shopping trip. I use to work in a grocery for 6 years and I always let customers try take away some items so they can afford most of half of their order since these things happen. I thought the employees should've done more, and let me take off dome grocery items so I could pay for most of my order. I don't think I'll return to this Giant Food Store for awhile. Shoprite, Acme, and Weis do more for the customers.

LOVE this store.Everyone who works there are so friendly,and awesome cause they go out of their way everytime I'm in there.They are right there to stop what their doing and help me with items I can't reach or if I'm looking for something that I can't find .Like this morning,I was trying to reach Nabisco sour cream toasted chips and this young guy walked all the way back to the aisle to help me.The bakery staff are willing to stop what their doing to get me muffin containers when ever I need them.The cashiers are so familiar on how I like my items bagged,.Customer service staff are so friendly and help out with out given customers any attitude ,like the most stores do in the area. The store is clean and doesn't smell like rotted dead fish like shop rite does on a daily basis.
