We went in at 7:35. Subway closes at 8:00. All toppings were covered with saran wrap, and the employees told us that the lobby was closed. They were very unfriendly and did not create a welcoming environment. In fact, my son was greeted with the statement, "The lobby is closed." We were forced to take our food home despite having two kids in tow. If I had known the outcome, we would not have purchased our food here!

We all know that Subway is not on the level with a New York deli, but Subway can serve a good sub when you get a craving. The problem with the Hartwell, GA Subway is that it is inconsistent. One time, you get a great sandwich, at other times it doesn't measure up. The amount of ingredients have become so sparse that I have began ordering double meat and double cheese. Now they are cutting back on that too! Also, their service in inconsistent. Usually, it is best to go during the daytime hours if you want friendly and fast service. Lately, that doesn't make a difference. I wonder if they are they under new management? I am now looking for a new sandwich place for lunch. I hear that Market 50 is a great new place to go for lunch.
