Established in 1946, Horst Engineering & Manufacturing specializes in the contract manufacturing of precision-machined components and assemblies for clients in the aerospace, medical and auto aftermarket industries. Its processes include Swiss screw machining, turning, computer numerical control (CNC) milling, thread rolling, centerless grinding and assembly. The company has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification from the International Organization for Standardization. Horst Engineering & Manufacturing offers a variety of products, such as pins, bushing and fasteners. Its custom components feature adapters, axles, brackets, clamps, collars, connectors, couplings, handles, hinges, keys, knobs, levers, pistons, plates, nozzles, probes, retainers, spindles, shafts and washers. The company also performs various in-house secondary operations, such as parts cleaning, drilling and tapping, broaching and ball seating. In addition, Horst Engineering & Manufacturing operates Team Horst Sports, which is a cycling team.
