Welcome to Padgett Padgett Business Services is a network of over 400 offices across the United States and Canada. The Padgett system is customized for the tax and accounting needs of smaller businesses. Since Jim Beasley opened the Harrisonburg office of Padgett Business Services in 1990, he has helped area businesses prosper--while taking the burdens of tax preparation and payroll from their owners. Jim is an Enrolled Agent ( EA ) licensed by the federal government to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. To be licensed, EAs must pass an examination in tax procedure and complete continuing education courses throughout their careers. Jim attends tax school every year to ensure that he is current with the latest changes, and the national office of Padgett Business Services provides him with an additional source of tax news.
