  Dr. Maxwell is a native Californian. He received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas A&M University, his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences, and completed his OB/Gyn residency at the Carilion Clinic. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, he is interested in all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care with a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Maxwell has advanced training in Robotic/laparoscopic surgical procedures and the management of urinary incontinence using the Interstim bladder control system.

  Sherry is an excellent provider of adolescent gynecology, well woman care and contraception (including IUDs, Nexplanon). Her philosophy is to empower women to care for themselves and understand their health. She received her RN, BSN from EMU, MSN, FNP from ODU, and was an L&D nurse for 5 years.

  Dr. Slusher is an advocate for her patients and pursues the best medical care possible. Her interest are incontinence, high risk obstetrics, pediatric gynecology, bone health and office surgery. She serves as the Medical Director for Family Birth Place and Section Chair for OB/GYN at Sentara RMH. She has formerly taught for the P.A. Program at James Madison University.

  Dr. Scheidt grew up in Virginia. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Roanoke College. She attended the University of Virginia for medical school and residency. Her interest include adolescent gynecology and minimally invasive surgery as well as routine well women & obstetric care.

  Dr. Weinberg is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who originally hails from South Carolina. He completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, caring for a diverse and complex patient population. Since joining Harrisonburg OB/GYN, he has competed certification in DaVinci robotic surgery. His clinical interests include gynecologic surgery, pelvic pain, and high-risk obstetrics.
