Dr. Maxwell has advanced training in Robotic/laparoscopic surgical procedures and the management of urinary incontinence using the Interstim bladder control system.

Her philosophy is to empower women to care for themselves and understand their health. She received her RN, BSN from EMU, MSN, FNP from ODU, and was an L&D nurse for 5 years.

Her interest are incontinence, high risk obstetrics, pediatric gynecology, bone health and office surgery. She serves as the Medical Director for Family Birth Place and Section Chair for OB/GYN at Sentara RMH. She has formerly taught for the P.A. Program at James Madison University.

Her interest include adolescent gynecology and minimally invasive surgery as well as routine well women & obstetric care.
- Robotic SurgeryDr. Weinberg is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who originally hails from South Carolina. He completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, caring for a diverse and complex patient population. Since joining Harrisonburg OB/GYN, he has competed certification in DaVinci robotic surgery. His clinical interests include gynecologic surgery, pelvic pain, and high-risk obstetrics.
