Founded in 1978 by St. Stephen's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Episcopal School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools and is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. It operates a home and school association that conducts fundraising activities and special events. St. Stephen's Episcopal School is governed by a board of directors that provides strategic planning and financial solution services for children. The school s curriculum includes instruction in mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, computer science, music and art. It also provides classes in environmental, health, physical and character education. St. Stephen's Episcopal School additionally maintains running and senators reading clubs.
