I have been taking my jewelry here for many years. If a ring needs to be sized, it doesn't go to a jewelry dealer. I take it to Eastern. If I want to change a clasp, he does the work. He has set stones in bezels for earrings on more than one occasion. You buy the stones; he'll set them, His design work is outstanding. It's a tiny store on the Pike, and if you blink you could miss it, but it reminds me of the days when there were less box stores and malls.

Truly great and wise place carrying almost every thing you could wish for including gemstones of every nature and size, a plethora of stones (be sure to check out the eyed-malachite), jewelry repair, tools and wire, lapidary supply, and best of all - expert advise freely given. Like going on a treasure hunt.
