Located in Harrisburg, Pa., Dauphin County Technical School is a full-time comprehensive public vocational and technical high school. It serves various school districts in the state of Pennsylvania, including Central Dauphin, Derry Township, Halifax Area, Lower Dauphin, Middletown Area and Susquehanna Township school districts. The school offers a wide range of academic and vocational preparation programs that include courses in English, Health and Physical Education, Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies. In addition it also offers driver education courses and various special education programs, such as learning support and resources. The school s technical and vocational courses curriculum include advertising art and design, automotive technology, carpentry, cosmetology, law enforcement training, building construction and child care and maintenance.
