The Center for Discovery offers a range of adult and pediatric care programs certified by the New York State Education Department and the Department of Health. Its programs are also approved by the Department of Social Services and the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. The Center for Discovery offers therapeutic interventions and clinical and health care services in residential settings. Its adult care program offers a variety of leisure and recreational activities that emphasize individual preferences and community participation. The center offers treatment to children with several disabilities, including autism, developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, mental retardation and neurological impairments. The Center for Discovery provides on-site medical, physical, and psychological support and dental, neurology, psychology, psychiatric and podiatry services.
