Aloe Laboratories is a developer of aloe vera-based products for the health food, cosmetic and skin care markets. The company has developed a variety of aloe vera-based drinks, as well as other raw materials, such as concentrates and powders for use in cosmetics and skin care products. From its Organically Certified aloe vera fields, harvested leaves are sent to Aloe Laboratories' 40,000-square-foot processing and bottling plant. Once the leaves reach the manufacturing plant, they are processed using two different methods, hand fillet and whole leaf. The hand fillet process utilizes the inner gel of the aloe vera leaf. The whole leaf process grounds the leaf into a thick mixture, which is taken through a series of filtration steps. The company s finished products include Mrs. Ewald s Aloe Vera Juice, Aloe Burst Classic Aloe Vera Juice and a variety of cosmetic and tropical products, such as first aid jelly, sunscreen and moisturizing lotion.
