Hardin Intermediate School is a public educational facility that serves students in grades three through five. The school administers accelerated reader and math programs. It operates a store, Snack Shack, which sells school supplies, as well as provides instruction in music and physical education. Hardin Intermediate School also offers guidance counseling and food services. The school organizes carnivals, field trips and fundraising events. In addition, it manages an after-school program that features opportunities to participate in a selection of activities, such as sewing, microwave cooking, building projects, board games, and arts and crafts. Hardin Intermediate School operates a library and is governed by the Hardin School District.
