The only reason I am giving Bella 2 stars is that they have some really cute stuff in the store. Other than that I would have to give customer service a big hands down. I was studying at Dartmouth for the summer and I am a FASHIONISTA! I jumped at the sight of a cute store and knew I would spend my summer at their door. However, after 5 visits, they still didn't know me, recognize me or attempt to help me. I would try at a conversation and the women were plain rude. I hope that they read this review and know that just because you have the only really cute boutiques in tiny Hanover, you have no right to treat customers as third-class citizens. VERY Disappointed.

Clothes are definitely for the young and small-boned, but I managed to find a couple of sweaters there I loved (I am in my late 40s) and had no problem with service--an older woman helped me and was pleasant and professional.

I really enjoy Bella. The employees were willing to help me when I asked them, and eventually I had half the store worth of clothing in my dressing room. They were patient and kind, and, after reading the previous reviews, I believe unfairly treated. Although they seemed a bit nervous (and perhaps, some would label this as "cold") at first, once I asked for their help they jumped at the chance. I ended up spending upwards of $300, and although I know this is pricey, I adore all of the clothes I bought. I would recommend this store to everyone brave enough to ask a question.

There's nothing like being stared down as you walk into this store by the workers / owner. The lack of customer service and the overpriced clothing is enough to keep me walking next time.

I love bella, and while it may be overpriced, so are many other stores in the hanover area. it has great clothes, and i think the workers have improved greatly
Rude Workers. This store is the only store around that caries the designer jeans that I like. I have shopped there a couple of time and every time has been horrible. I am not sure if it is my size 8-10 that is the problem. I am willing to spend a lot of money at the store and no one wants to help me. They are the rudest bunch of people I have ever encountered. I am not sure how they stay in business. I agree with the previous poster. I would rather drive to Boston and pay for the gas and the sales tax. I will never set foot in that store again. I think they may need some customer service training.
While I like the clothing the store sells, it is way overpriced, and the only reason I shop there is because I have no other choice. Not only is the clothing expensive, but the workers are quite rude. I know I have spent hundreds of dollars at this store, but I would not recommend it to my friends. I'd rather drive to Boston and pay sales tax than shop here.
