David Ranieri is, without a doubt, all that his 5 star ratings and testimonials portray. My husband & I adopted a 1 1/2 yr. old bully breed from Friends of Falmouth Dogs rescue (another 5 star operation). We live in RI. Within days of adoption, Mickey began exhibiting unpredictable, (towards people) aggressive behavior. We immediately sought the help of a recommended RI "expert" pit trainer and a Ma. "Behaviorist Vet". One placed him, prematurely in a group class; the other on Prozac. A $1000. later, we saw little difference. David Ranieri was recommended by a friend, whose family was trained by David. David saved our family, with his persistent, patient guidance & probably, Mickey from an unfortunate end. He is a true behaviorist who worked with Mickey on his issues and us on proper handling. Today, we confidently are able to walk Mickey in public parks and in pet stores. Highly recommended for many reason, Trouwe Hond K-9 has much to offer. This is the only place I have found that was able to give me positive results. Dave from Trouwe Hond has been able to tackle a large project with my dog in both obedience training and protection work. He has been able to use different training styles and techniques to get through to my dog and myself. This has been a positive and extremely enjoyable training to do. I would recommend anyone to train here, and see amazing results the first time you go see him.

I enthusiastically recommend Dave to anyone with a dog. He helped us rescue our boy from some bad behavior. When you see his place you see a clean, heated set of stalls, with doors to outside, plenty of equipment for training as well as a large outdoor area complete with a "doggie playground". When you meet him you see a substantial man who is relaxed and friendly with dogs and dog-people. Our dog Jake LOVES him and so do we!

Trouwe Hond K9 offers me a full range of canine services. I have boarded my dogs there, the cleanliness and love for dogs made leaving them for the first time much easier. Training there has taught me how to communicate better with my animals, and even allowed me to put a CGC on my caucasian ovcharka. (No easy task.) Dave maintains a friendly, safe working environment during group training sessions, as well as offering private sessions to get new dogs up to speed.
