Located in Hanover, Ind., Southwestern Elementary School serves students in grade kindergarten through five and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular programs. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, reading, social studies, foreign languages, science, and physical and health education. The elementary school offers a wide variety of clubs and extracurricular activities. Its library offers a large online database and has a variety of books, magazines, journals and dictionaries. It also offers various student services, such as counseling, guidance, transportation and health screenings. The elementary school is operated by Southwestern Jefferson County Schools and is approved by the State of Indiana and the North Central Association.
