After speaking with many Registered Nurses on the hospital floor, they could not understand why I was left black and blue after these injections. The injections were given to me by a Kings County Public Health Nurse 2/RN. The area where the injections were given to me where very painful. The needle is no bigger than an insulin needle. The Public Health Nurse 2/RN from the Kings County Public Health Department would explain "oh that's going to happen." The RN's at the hospital stated that this is not suppose to happen and it didn't when they gave me the injections in the hospital. Ironically, this Public Health Nurse 2/RN stated that she was very good at giving injections, however, her Nursing Supervisor at that time was on probation as a result of not being able to give injections correctly. So, let me get this right, the Nursing Supervisor at the Kings County Public Health Department could not give injections properly, and this Public Health Nurse 2/RN left me black and blue and very sore? Great. I WILL NEVER HAVE THESE TYPE OF "NURSES" ANYWHERE NEAR ME IN THE FUTURE! I appreciate your time.
