My husband and I recently moved to the area and being military the daycare on base was full. Child development Academy off of Battle Rd is absolutely wonderful. The staff has been nothing but caring and friendly. The facilities are immaculate. My son has fit in perfectly. It being new has had its advantages. With very few children my son gets the attention that is needed. No overcrowding or attention not given. I thank the staff for what they do and who they are. Don't hesitate to place your child there.
My son has gone here since he was 6 weeks old (now 10 months), and I can't say enough good things! The facility (he is at Battle Road, and there are two other locations) is immaculate and new, and built with children in mind. The staff is so caring and professional---like aunts and grandmothers to my child, AND with college degrees!!! No wonder they say it's in the top 7% of daycares in the country! I can't wait until my son is in the older classes, because from what I see in passing, they are learning soooo much! Another thing I love is that the center's mission is to provide quality preschool for at-risk kids and also for special-needs kids, so it's a big mixture of children of all colors and socioeconomic levels and abilities. My son will be a "normal" kid for the others to look to, and meanwhile my son is learning sensitivity to children who are different from him and making friends with them. Everybody wins!
