I stopped in by chance today. What a great find. The barn was quaint and very rustic. I was greeted by a woman who only made me feel at home. I tasted her raccota pumpkin pie that she had so graciously offered me. It was very creamy with just enough pumpkin flavor as to not be overpowering . I loved it. The pies are garnished to look like artwork. Fresh fruits displayed atop with a clear glaze. I was so impressed I purchased a double crusted apple pie for my family. In passed conversation I had mentioned that my mother had been ill. Don't u know it , the women who had been helping me , ( Evelyn Penza, I assume) had cut an additional slice of the pumpkin raccotta pie to seb Nd to my ill mother. People like this are very rare .
