My husband and I have been going to J.A. Buffet for lunch three times a week for 3 years now. We live 22 miles away and we go out of our way to come to JA Buffet. Their lunch meal is more like a dinner meal with the variety of food that they offer. Of course, they have Chinese food there but they also have American food. They have 6 different stations and at each station there are 12 different pans of food items. They only charge $8.49 for lunch, and theres no other place where you can go and get that huge assortment of food and drink for that price. The food is also very good. They have excellent cooks there. Their dinner meal is $13.99 and each night they have a specialty along with the regular food that they serve at lunch. Saturday for dinner and all day Sunday they also serve steak cooked to your preference. My husband enjoys it very much. They are very receptive to feedback and will help to accommodate you. One example was a woman who couldnt eat pork. She told the staff and they made her special fried rice without pork. Everyone is so friendly and they are more then willing to help you and make your stay there enjoyable. They have booths or tables to sit at and they are always clean. JA Buffet is a very relaxing environment. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent- good food-good price

We ate here once before about a month ago and it was ok. We stopped today around 6, you know usual dinner time, and the food was horrible!!! Everything was dry and hard and looked like it was there since the morning when they first put it out. Other items were cold. The sushi selection for one was a real let down. They had 5 rolls to choose from but you could tell they were there all day. The avocado was brown and the nori was so hard my boyfriend thought he broke a tooth. The sushi chef just sat there and watched people walk away disgusted. The waitresses are very rude as well. My boyfriend got something I wanted to try so he put his plate in front of me with a spoon on the plate so they wouldn't take it away, she came over and tried to take it anyway. We both had to yell no several times for her to put it back and I actually had to grab the plate out of her hand. What is wrong here?! I've never been to such a horrible buffet. On our way out a man was walking in and he asked how it was, we told him not to bother because it was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The only reason I gave them one star was because I couldn't give them none. I firmly DO NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.
