Melissa Mele-Delgado did her doctoral research in the field of dermatology, specifically psoriasis, which led her to focus on autoimmune skin conditions. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology including the aesthetic component, and was trained by a reputable plastic surgeon in dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Melissa is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
