Founded in 1970, Star Community offers various assisted living services to small group homes. Its residences have private bedrooms, indoor swimming pools and therapeutic riding centers. The community, formerly known as Anita Lynne Home, offers a range of residential and day program options. Its health care center provides nursing diagnosis, medication, dietary evaluation, infection control, staff and resident educational and 24-hour nursing services. Star Community also offers vocational training and opportunities for various recreational activities. The community additionally provides recycling, cleaning, landscaping, vending and on-site services. It offers arts and crafts and group music therapy programs.
