Alvaro Cabezas, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon at the Center for the Joint Surgery and Sports Medicine division in Hagerstown, Maryland. Dr. Cabezas brings his experience from one of New Jersey €˜s busiest referral institutions where he was trained in the latest techniques and advancements in orthopaedic surgery. He is a graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he also recently completed his residency. He is a veteran of U.S. Army and served under Operation Enduring Freedom while stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Serving as a combat medic and laboratory technician during his time in the military has helped him refine his ability to work with a variety of individuals. Being fluent in English and Spanish, he brings comprehensive care to a wide selection of patients.
