- ArthritisRheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease (meaning your body’s disease-fighting system mistakenly causes joint linings to swell) that often affects hands and feet but can also occur in other joints, eyes, skin and internal organs. This inflammation spreads to other tissues and can eventually damage cartilage and bone.

- CryotherapyGame Ready Vasonpneumatic Cryotherapy - Developed by scientists and doctors using proprietary NASA spacesuit technology, the Game Ready System simultaneously delivers both adjustable cold therapy and intermittent compression, making it easy to apply the two most difficult-to-manage aspects of the RICE regimen.
- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeCarpal Tunnel Syndrome – Typical symptoms are numbness and tingling in the hands, especially at night; decreased feeling in the fingers; pain and clumsiness when holding objects. Mild cases can be treated with a splint or brace to rest the wrist. Oral or injected medication can also help shrink the swollen tissues that are pressing on the nerve. In more severe cases, surgery is needed to relieve the pressure.
- UltrasoundUltrasound - Ultrasound machines are a treatment modality that utilize high or low frequency sound waves. These sound waves are transmitted to the surrounding tissue and vasculature. They penetrate the muscles to cause deep tissue/muscle warming. This promotes tissue relaxation and therefore is useful in treating muscle tightness and spasms. The physical therapist can also adjust the frequency on the machine to use waves that will decrease inflammation.

- IontophoresisIontophoresis - Iontophoresis is a non-invasive method of delivering drugs into the body. With a low-level electrical current, iontophoresis repels drug ions through the skin and into underlying tissue.
- Minimally Invasive SurgeryArthroscopic surgery uses highly specialized instruments to perform minimally invasive surgery through very small openings. The technique is most commonly used to examine and treat knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle, hip and wrist joints. Advantages include smaller incisions, less scar tissue, less pain after surgery, and faster recovery.
