Located in Gypsum, Colo., Gypsum Creek Middle School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students in grades six through eight. It imparts instruction in math science, social studies and art. Gypsum Creek Middle School also provides classes in computer technology, music and language arts. It has a library that stocks various print and nonprint informational resources, including lesson plans, research articles, homework assistance sites, reports, reference materials, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school organizes several athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, soccer, and track and field. Additionally, it maintains a student council, as well as offers memberships for yearbook, climbing, booster and academic soccer clubs. Gypsum Creek Middle School is a part of the Eagle County School District, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
