Memorial Hospital of Texas County is a county-owned, nonprofit, licensed, acute care hospital serving people of all ages in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. It is a more than 40-bed hospital providing various medical and community services. The hospital has intensive care, and surgical units, emergency rooms and laboratories. It provides home and hospice care, dietary, obstetrics, radiology, nursing and physical therapy services. Its physical therapy department offers various services, including arthritic and wound care, sports injury treatment, and rehabilitation for orthopedic and pediatric problems, posttrauma and stroke. The home care services provided by the hospital include intravenous therapy, injections, supervision of oral medications, blood pressure checks, dressing changes, catheter and postsurgical care, obstetrical observation, personal care, and patient and family education. Located in Guymon, Okla., the hospital is licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Health.
