- Dental CareWe also provide dental scoring, which rates the overall dental health of your cat or dog on a scale of 1 to 4. This numerical assessment is helpful in understanding the condition of your pet’s mouth and allows us to monitor changes in your cat’s or dog’s oral health over time.
- VaccinationThe staff at Guthrie Pet Hospital will also make recommendations regarding the best vaccination schedule for your pet. While some vaccines are needed annually, others may be required every 2 or 3 years, and the effectiveness of some may last less than 1 year. Whatever the case, it’s important to recognize that more than one vaccination program may be valuable, and our team will suggest a schedule that’s customized to the needs of your pet.
- Behavioral CounselingThroughout a childhood of frequent moves and uprooting of friendships as the daughter of a pastor, Stefani developed a very strong bond with her pets. She knew from her first 4H obedience training class at the age of nine that she wanted to pursue a deeper connection and communication with dogs. While acquiring her bachelor’s degree in General Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma, she also worked a part-time job as a bather at grooming salon. That job led to the opportunity to apprentice as a groomer.
- Nutritional CounselingSimilar to human-centered health care, obesity prevention and weight loss is a focal point in veterinary care. For cats and dogs, being even slightly overweight can put them at risk for developing serious medical conditions.

She began working at Guthrie Pet Hospital shortly afterward. After almost a decade of working solely in the field of grooming, with the support and encouragement of Dr. Anna Coffin, Stef continued her education and deepened her connection with dogs once again by earning her dog training accreditation through Animal Behavior College. Now, she continues to groom dogs, as well as teaching private lessons in obedience and behavioral problem solving. She teaches using only positive reinforcement training methods.
