True Textiles is one of the leading, long-standing suppliers of upholstery and panel fabrics for offices, theatres, hotels, restaurants and other commercial or high traffic environments. The company s fabrics are available through more than 200 furniture manufacturers, in addition to furniture dealers, designers and refurbishers. True Textiles began in the state of Maine, on the banks of the Piscataquis River. The corporation dates back to 1943, but it was in the 1970s that its business in office fabrics began to boom, largely because it provided panel fabrics with effective flame retardants. True Textiles is a subsidiary division of Interface that is headquartered in Guilford, Maine.
