Sullivan Funeral Home
General Info
In 1959 Guilford Funeral Home was opened by George F. Sullivan, Jr., who envisioned the need for a full servicing oriented funeral establishment to serve his community and the surrounding communities of Madison, Clinton, Killingworth and the Stony Creek, Branford areas. For thirty - five years George Jr. ran the family business with his father George F. Sullivan, Sr. by his side. Together they prided themselves on treating every family they served as they were part of their own family. Key elements to this accomplishment were to give the families the feeling of being their guest and as if they were their one and only funeral. Throughout the years the funeral home facility has seen many changes, which have enabled us to better serve our greater Guilford, but our commitment to personal service has stayedthe same. The Sullivan Family believes in the importance of local ownership, so you can depend on our compassion and attentive personal service; that should be expected when choosing a funeral home.
