Bunkhouse Motel is a quaint, family owned and operated motel, located in the beautifully scenic town of Guernsey, Wyoming. The motel has been around for 40 years, but under its current ownership after the owners fell in love with the area 15 years ago. We love the rustic look of the landscape, and are dedicated to providing good service and hospitality to our guests. For your comfort and convenience, we update our motel every year, making it better each time you come back to visit. We are a small hotel, which means that our rooms are cleaned thoroughly, and they all come with amenities like our complimentary homemade breakfast of delicious biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, cereal, juices, yogurt and more! Each of our rooms includes cable TV, wi-fi, and a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Clean Hotel, Awesome breakfast especially since there are NO restaurants in Guernsey except Crazy Tony's. But the food at breakfast was very good.

We stayed one night on the way down from Deadwood to Denver. It was clean the front desk staff were helpfull and friendly, a good value stop over with some historical places to visit nearby Not many places to eat but it was adequate and cheap.

This is a fine place to sleep and leave your junk while exploring TRNP and Medora. Yes, the rooms are small, but the beds are adequate and the place is clean. My son and I have stayed here on several trips to explore the Little Missouri River Badlands.

We found this a fun adventure and enjoyed our time here. This is the most reasonable place to sleep in Medora and the price makes it great for those of us on a fixed income. We had a room with a queen bed. It had a night stand on one side and a chair on the other. We had plenty of room to move around. We had a 6 drawer dresser with a TV hooked to cable. We had an air conditioner that worked great. The bathroom was as big as anyone would need with a shower and a tub. Now it did not have a hair dryer, a microwave, or a refrigerator, but bunkhouses seldom do. It was quiet, as it was off the main road and not next to the railroad. It had a swimming pool and plenty of room to park. We had a good nights rest and enjoyed our time there. If we had wanted more, we would have paid the overpriced fees at the other choices.

So...selection for places to send my guys when travelling on business to Guernsey are few and far between. I expected to be received with this kind of attitude when booking my rooms, but I didn't. Desk staff is friendly and very accommodating, allowing me to add to or take away from my reservations at the last minute. Feedback from my guys is that the place is clean and that breakfast is tasty. That's all I need to book again and again! Looking forward to this summer with a strong, locally owned hotel to give our company's business to.

We were on an American 'road trip' and ready to call it quits for the day. A local police officer recommended this quaint, low-key establishment. Rooms were basic but clean and beds were comfortable. Decorated in the old west.

I have stayed at the Bunkhouse twice in the last few years, the first time just for one night and then the next time for a week. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the owners go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. If you are in the area and looking for a place to stay, dont look any further than the Bunkhouse.

This is an older mom-and-pop type property in a small town, but its AAA-rated, had a website for information, and the reviews were good. The website portrays the facility accurately. The room rate was reasonable and we had a basic, clean and comfortable room, although the bathroom was a little small. We had a problem with the coffee maker, which was resolved very quickly and satisfactorily by the staff. The staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. As an earlier reviewer said, our room had two beds, a coffee maker, TV, and small fridge with four complimentary bottles of water. The free continental breakfast was very basic, and there was free WiFi access. My only complaint was you have to pay for the ice. If you were in this area, Id recommend staying here.

This place is clean and what does someone need for one night? Just a decent, quiet place to rest. They have a western motif and the room was adequate for us. American owned and operated. The breakfast was very good with fresh baked hot cinnamon rolls, yogurt, biscuits, cereal, juices. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
