Superior Ambulance Service offers medical care, medical transportation, and prehospital care to patients. Established in 1996, currently the company has expanded to 25 municipalities in Lawrence, Mercer, Butler and Venango Counties. Based in Grove City, Pa., it offers its services to the news media, elected officials, medical community and emergency agencies among others. Superior Ambulance Service provides advanced life support or mobile intensive care service round the clock. The ambulances are equipped with prehospital care equipments, including respiratory ventilators, (C-Pap), twelve lead EKG and multiparameter vital sign monitoring systems. The company has the license of Pennsylvania Department of Health and has also been awarded as "Best of the Best" Ambulance Service provider in Mercer County in 2010.
