Provided by YPmobileWorst experience ever. Car came back worse then it was when in to be fixed. Prices double With every call. Promised one price and it keeps doubling on top of not being fixed correctly. Not to mention parts that are part of the car not items in the car magically disappear. And the sign posted is supposed to cover that. They are not liable because the have a sign stating so. Also leave door unlocked in a non gated lot. When you complain it your fault not their's as the owner sees it. Be prepared to be cussed out. Posting for a friend to get word out.
THIS CUSTOMER BROUGHT THEIR VEHICLE IN FOR REPAIRS IN WHICH WE DID. THEY CAME BACK A FEW DAYS LATER STATING THE ENGINE WAS TICKING AND MAKING NOISES, THE REPAIRS THAT WE DID WERE NOT EVEN REMOTELY RELATED TO THE ENGINE BUT TO SATISFY OUR CUSTOMERS WE HAD THE HEADS REMOVED AND MACHINED AT OUR EXPENSE!!! NOT ONCE HAVE WE HEARD OF ANYTHING BEING TAKEN OR MISSING OUT OF ANYONES VEHICLES THAT ARE ON OUR LOT. WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO KEEP OUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY AT ALL COSTS.

Provided by YP.comI sat in their office waiting for my ride when one of their mechanic entered the office to show the shop owner, Derrick the unethical attempt by another shop to defraud a customer. Derrick straighten the issue out and saved that customer a substantial amount of cash. It cost him a large amount of money he could have pocketed and the customer would have never known. Seems to be a rare occurrence these days but this shop still has ethical values.
I've had a large amount of work done and Derrick has always been forthright and quick to respond. There was an issue that required warrantee work and Derrick was exceptionally quick to request the vehicle back to make good on the repair.
A1 is a certainly a place that I would refer others to. Hard to say that these days when competition is fierce and underhanded tactics rule the day. Look for these guy to honor their word.
Thanks for all the help, Derrick!

Provided by YP.comI recommend this place to my best friend! A1 Automotive put an engine in my car and gave me the most reasonable price after calling around to many other local shops with the best warranty for a used unit. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the work and haven't had a problem with my car that A1 hasn't been able to fix. They do all the routine maintenance on my vehicle. They have a good group of guys up there.
Thanks for the great review. We try hard to keep our customers happy with our service. Mention this review next time you are in and we will change your oil for free!

Provided by YP.comi had several problems with this business. took my car to A1 because of a friend's recommendation. my pt cruiser was leaking oil and pulling to the right.
the owner is derek. i did not see. or talk to, him; but i told one of the mechanics what was wrong. his name is josh. josh said he needed to drive the car before he could assess the problem, so he drove it to take me home.
in a few days, i received a call from the business to inform me that my car needed hub bearings (at a cost of around $400). i agreed to this. next day, there was also a $100 charge to fix the oil leak. i agreed to that. the next day i received another call informing me that the car needed cambor bolts (another $90) to which i agreed.
i called a couple of days later to see if car was ready and was told that it was. when i went to pick it up, one of the door shocks was broken. the door would not open; so i had to leave it again. i found it odd that one of the A1 employees had driven it out to the lot, knowing that the driver's door would not open, and still tell me to come pick it up. real good customer service, right?
at that time, i went into the office and told the secretary, amy, that i had noticed a sign on the outside of the business indicating that A1 was not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles. i told her that, if the business claimed no responsibility for theft or damage, then the business needed to have a locked gate or AT LEAST lock the vehicles left on their open lot. my pt cruiser had been left unlocked overnight; and i have thousands of dollars worth of sound equipment inside car. if my property had been stolen, A1 would not have covered my loss........ EVEN though they had left my car unlocked on a very visible and ungated lot!
the next day, i was told again that my car was ready; so i went to pick it up. when i paid, my bill was $643.26, a far cry from the original quote of less than $400. i noticed that an alignment had been performed (which i had not authorized or even been told about). but i figured the shop owner knew what he was doing; so i paid the bill and drove away in my car.
THE NEXT DAY, i was driving, and the car began to shake so violently that i was barely able to keep it on the road. i drove it back to A1 and was told that one of my tires had split. derek told me i needed new tires. now, this was ONE DAY after my alignment.
did anyone at A1 tell me that an alignment would do no good until i replaced that tire? NO. i bought new tires, had them installed and aligned at another shop. i called derek today to ask why he had charged me $70 for an alignment that he knew would not work. he yelled that i KNEW my tires were bad......... which, of course, did not answer the question. it was his job to tell me to replace that tire BEFORE an allignment was performed!!
i kept my cool; but told him that i was not an auto mechanic, and that it was his responsibility to inform customers if their tires were unsafe. also, i told him, i had not been told that an allignment was being performed. i had also not been told that the alignment would be useless because of my tire needs. HE CHARGED ME $70 FOR AN ALLIGNMENT THAT HE KNEW WOULD NOT WORK.
i had to get another alignment today (less than a week after my experience with A1). A1 did not tell me the truth. Derek did an unneccessary alighnment without my permission, then lost his temper when i questioned him about it. i will never go back to A1, and suggest that, IF you are looking for a mechanic you can trust............ you should stay away from this one.
The alignment performed was quoted in the original $452.90 for front end work that the customer agreed to and while it is true the alignment could not be performed without replacing the camber bolt Miss Kierbow was informed of an additional charge before the repairs were made that she again agreed too. In reference to her oil leak she was quoted $102.41 and informed that it was not her only leak but that the oil pressure switch was leaking so bad that it had to be replaced before we could tell anything else. Miss Kierbow again agreed bringing her total repairs to $643.26. As for her door the aftermarket bushings she had installed were worn out and the door open fine for our technician but nonetheless the shop manager fixed it for free. Miss Kierbow was going to pick her vehicle up after hours after paying by phone so her vehicle was left outside for her to retrieve it. We make every effort to keep customers vehicles inside when requested. So as for the shock of the bill we had every amount authorized by phone before making the repairs. The alignment worked on the vehicle but the vehicle needed tires and after the tire shop puts tires on much like ourselves they like to perform and alignment to ensure that they know it was done. Worn out tires split and we don't do tire work here. We do make any effort to help our customers out and try to recommend any future repairs we notice.
