General Info
Christine Swenson has practiced law for more than 20 years. She was a prosecutor in Tucson, Arizona, and in the suburbans of the Denver metro area for more than six years when she changed her focus to education. During her time as a professor, she concentrated on criminal law, constitutional law, and the criminal judicial process where she perfected her ability to explain complex legal issues to those with little to no background in law or the court system. She has been a vocal supporter of victims rights throughout her career. A native of New York, Christine has lived in Tucson, Arizona; Salamanca, Spain; Washington, D.C.; San Diego, California and, currently resides just outside Denver, Colorado. These locations have one thing in common: a significant immigrant population. Christine recently opened her own practice as a result of her work with victims of crime and the opportunity for them to obtain a U Visa. This work has reignited her passion for immigrants and the struggles and prejudices they face in the United States, which prompted her to focus her practice exclusively on immigration law. Christine lives in Littleton, Colorado, with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. Christine enjoys snowshoeing and freely admits skiing is not her sport; she pokes fun at herself saying it's better for everyone else that I don't ski.
