Provided by DexKnowsBeyond the physical training that you find at any ordinary gym, Han Lee's Taekwondo Academy goes further with teaching the confidence and enthusiasm that seems to be lacking everywhere else these days. It's quite refreshing to see the amount of compassion that the teachers have towards the students - not only for the kiddos, but for the adult students, too!If you're looking for quality martial arts instruction and life skill development, this is the place to go!

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I have been attending Han Lee's Taekwondo Academy for 4 and 1/2 years and we love it! We both benefit from the exercise and fun and the taekwondo way of life - courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit. Taekwondo has helped us in our daily lives and we enjoy the support we get when we attend classes and the friends we have met. Grandmaster Han Lee promotes the best in us!

Provided by YP.comThe instructors have been very patient with my son. He wanted to take classes, but, he didn't want to listen and do the exercises. The instructors have continued to work with him and he now participates in class. He has become louder in class and is more confident about what he is doing. The staff and instructors have been great. I would highly recommend Han Lee's Taekwondo Academy.

Provided by DexKnowsThis place uses free trial lures to then get you to sign 4 year contracts! Be aware! No contracts needed for good martial arts training.

Provided by YP.comI will just give you a copy of an email I just sent to one of my customers about this program and it can be my opinion of how incredible this organization is!!!
Hi Cindy
Ok, Taekwondo...first I have to tell you a story. My son had pretty bad ADHD and his attitude and respect was going in the potty, he was spoiled and 13 years old. We had already had him in a Christian home school program and going to church....but he had no respect or gratitude for anyone or anything. Spoiled. We (Grandma and me) entered him in Taekwondo about 3 months ago or so and he is a different child! One that says "Yes Ma'am" he does things the FIRST time you ask him, we were in Sams and a gentleman dropped a box of shovels and my son was the only person who walked over and said "Can I help you with this sir?" and put them all back. He has respectful for all adults and peers now, he plays with the little kids and teaches them the same. When he knows he was wrong, he apologizes right away and says he will try harder. He is better at school....I could go on and on...but the bottom line is I DID NOTHING!! All I did was get him into this Taekwondo, get him committed (Commited means he agreed to stay in and earn his black belt...that is what the blue uniform means, they start out in white while they see if they like it) and supported him all the way. He is on his third belt, orange already! Cindy if there is one thing I have spent money on in my life that was worth it...it is this!
My child is who I always wanted him to grow up to be, a kind, proper, respectful young man. No....let me correct that, he is more than I wanted. If you can afford to send your child into this program...I would do it immediately! It is life changing, not just for him but for me. It honestly makes me want to be a better person too! I hope you do it! Tell them Michele sent you from Nook N Cranny and Grandmaster Lee should give you one of my business cards and you get money off your next cleaning too! Ask to be in Cameron's class and you and I can hang out. Grandma takes him most of the time, but you will see me from time to time.

Provided by YP.comBuyer BEWARE!! The owner is a mulit-millionaire and is only interested in making more money. The classes are huge and the attention is minimal. They do things other schools do not do such as manditory competitions that the students are required to pay extra for and where the same people win over and over, and you pay to loose. TKD is supposed to be an individual sport where personal best is the goal - not a competition. This is just one of the many ways the owner makes more and more money. They will talk you into his 3 year contract and promise many things, and when those things don't happen and you try to talk to him about it, you will hear over and over, "You signed the contract." He'll never let you out and you will be stuck making him richer. There are many other schools that offer more flexible contracts. Don't let this school trick you into their contract!!! BEWARE!!!
