I have been to other vets in the area. There visits were cut and dry and very costly. I took my dog here for the first time and was very impressed with the way the staff and Dr.Ridgeway handled my dogs emergency. They were more concerned with my dogs health than getting my credit card number. I highly recommend and will trust my pets to no other vet. Thank You Chinquapin Animal Hospital.

Best veterinarian in Greenwood! Been to other vets, but they were expensive or not helpful. Dr. Ridgeway goes way beyond conventional pet care and is sympathetic, flexible, and knowledgeable. He won't order unnecessary labs or put your pet through unnecessary stress. When I presented my cat to him in an emergency...he dropped everything and explained to me what he would do if it was his cat. BUT the most refreshing thing about Dr. Ridgeway is that the safety, well-being, comfort, and happiness of your pet comes first, not your wallet. In many cases most veterinarians are ok, BUT in this case, I honestly believe my cat would not be alive today if I had taken him to anyone other than Dr. Ridgeway.

I highly recommend Dr. Ridgeway. He is one of the best diagnosticians and surgeons I have ever been to. I wouldn't trust my animals to anyone else Very understanding, reasonable, and he is one of the most caring vets I have ever been to. Bedside manner is astounding.
very kind and gentle, you can tell that they genuinely care about your pet and want what is best. They also understand that money may be tight and work with you on payment plans and you can even pay in installments if necessary.
