Kindness from the mechanic,effort in repair was great. Owner challenged every step of the process,wanting to make the most $ he could. In the end, a $2000 estimate was NOT Explained. I was told I had a bad oil leak and to check daily. I drove one mile,parked it,and the next am,it threw a rod trying to start it. I gave the owner his chance to make it right,and he said they fixed what I asked,and that I was trying to place blame. No, I thought for $360, I'd pull out of there with a safe car. If I was told 1/2 the things off that estimate,or been given a copy of it, I would have gladly paid $50 for them looking at the car,and been done. Bad tie rods, bad ball joint,come on!! Those are safety issues. All the oil they supposedly added in the recommended oil change was gone by the time I got it home. BAD BAD shop. Avoid it. (and yes,the owner has been calling daily, I've been ignoring him. He had his chance).
