3 no shows, complete run around. phone tag and they will cut off phone to avoid you. Terrible service
This company is very unprofessional ! I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and they never called until halfway though the scheduled time. Do not waste your time calling this company!
Don't use this company!!! They came out to replace my water and caused more damages. It's been over a month and they still haven't fixed what they damaged. I went through my home warranty company and they approved and paid for all charges including the installation. Zoom Mechanical then decided that I needed some "modifications" and of course the home warranty wouldn't cover it. It was a ridiculous amount of money, more than $350 worth of "modifications" over what the home warranty already paid for. They are awful business people. The customer service is horrible. I'm going to have to go through my insurance company who will have to go after them to recover the damages. Long story short. When they came to replace my water heater they knocked my drainage hose out of my washing machine. I put a load in before I left the house to run errands, came back and my entire laundry room was flooded (no exaggeration) and the water was leaking out of the wall through my garage down my dang driveway. They said they would cover it. They never did. They won't return my calls now. They won't call me back at a time that is convenient. They still haven't done anything. Word to the wise. You CAN DECLINE a company that the home warranty company tries to send out. DECLINE zoom mechanical and save yourself the money and the headache! Worst company ever! They should really be 2.5 stars. Don't let the sweet receptionist fool you. She is just saying what she needs to to stall.
Waited 3 Weeks and Never Did the Work!!Our home warranty company assigned our work order to Zoom Mechanical. We had 2 outside water hose faucets that were not working. The technician came on a Friday evening at about 6pm. He looked at the faucets and said that the first one needed a new part. He couldn't figure out what was wrong with the second one. He looked for a few minutes for the water shut-off valve and said he couldn't find it. He even asked us to find it for him and call him back and let him know where it was once we found it. Isn't that his job?? He said it was Friday night and he wanted to get out of there and go pick up his paycheck. He said he would order parts to repair one of the faucets and would do further inspection on the other faucet once he came back. Fast forward 3 weeks later.... we called the company 8 TIMES and no one would return our calls! We got in touch with the office ladies a few times and they told us they were making our work order a top priority and the tech would call us back ASAP. HE NEVER CALLED US BACK. We finally spoke with the "office manager" and told her the situation, which she said she could see in the notes on our file (which means all of this has been noted and they still weren't bothering with calling us back). She apologized for the inconvenience and said she would dispatch him back to our house that day... but he could no longer repair the faucets, but had to order a new one and wouldn't be able to repair it that day! I asked her why no one ever called to inform us and she just said she didn't know. So we waited for the tech to come out that day and give us more info on replacing the faucet. When he showed up he looked at the faucet and told us the job was too big and he didn't have time to do it. OK, so why did it take 3 WEEKS to tell us? Couldn't someone just call us back and let us know so we didn't waste 3 weeks waiting on these people??Long story short.... don't use this company! If you read their other reviews everyone seems to tell the same story --> Their home warranty company assigned them to do a job and they would never return calls. It seems like the only business they get is from warranty companies! Do yourself a favor and use another company!
Should be a negative rating. They no show or reschedule constantly. Been living with a broken toilet for days. Nobody will answer the phone. I'm about to drive there and walk into the office and it's not going to be pretty. This has gone on long enough!
