Xtra Homecare Services, Inc. is a non-medical homecare agency that employs qualified caeregivers to provide homecare assistance to the elderly and disabled individuals of all ages. Services include personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, transportation, meal preparation, etc.); home management (light housekeeping, laundry); companion (sitting, patient monitoring, light exercise, reading, etc.); and advocacy/consulting (assistance with completing paperwork/applications, communicating with healthcare professionals, recommending other available resources including grants. We accept private pay, Medicaid, veterans' insurance, long term care insurance, Alzheimer's Assoc. vouchers, grant funds). We provide 24/7/365 care. Caregivers are screened, bonded, and insured.

Amenities
Special services include careful client/caregiver matching--Clients are personally introduced to potential caregivers prior to beginning work through informal interviews. Clients are also introduced to the Director of Operations and the Nurse Supervisor initially and on a regular basis during required visitations and for feedback. Other services: Friendly Reassurance Visits--Quarterly visits by the Director of Operations; monthly visitations by the Nurse Supervisor for feedback on the quality of the services provided and caregiver performance. Caregivers are regularly trained as required by the State, and on an as-needed basis.
