General Info
The Marquette was a historical meat market and grocery that was in business for over 60 years. We then branched off the grocery side and made it a meat market and restaurant. The restaurant idea came from our original family restaurant Ethel Ree's, (which was named after my grandmother and her famous cooking) located in the southern Green-ville area. We were doing very well there serving breakfast, lunch and dinners. After our lease ended we decided to relocate Ethel Ree's to the Mar-quette; which is now family owned. Now with 2012 approaching, we're ready to finish what we started. With a newly renovated building, new name, same faces, same southern hospitality and the same Good Ol' Southern Cookin'.The Marquette Meat Market serving the community and upstate premium, quality meats at competitive prices that fit any budget. Featuring Boars Head products and our homemade deli items and desserts.
