This landscaper was working on our neighbors yard over the weekend. I ran an errand on Saturday morning. When I came home I saw that he was prunning our Bradford Pear Tree. It took me by surprised and I was kind of shocked. I rolled down my window and I said, "Sir, you are cutting my tree". He said, "no I am not, everything on the right of the utility box is yours and everything on the left is theres". I then said, "We planted that tree along with all the wax myrtles that are in front of it 12 years ago when we moved in". He said, "well GD you need to get a survey done because you are wrong". He said, "there are GD branches hanging down a little low on your neighbors property". I said that if I would had realized this or if my neighbor would have let me known then I would have gladly done something about it". The neighbors started approaching my car and he threw down his equipment and said, "I can't take this GD stuff". He walked away and started doing something else but the whole time he was fussing about me. I don't know our neighbors very well. But the lady was a little rude and just walked off but the gentleman was very nice and apologetic for his landscaper's behavior. However, he was not the one that should have been apologetic. He did nothing. We bulilt our house 12 years ago and paid a landscaper $4000 to plant trees, plants and grass all according to the survey of our property. The landscaper was there all weekend and I am very appalled that he did not apologize for being so disrespectful to me as a person as well as I lady. All I kept thinking about was the fact that my kids were planning on going with me that morning and then changed their mind last minute. I can't imagine them hearing that language and see that hot headed attitude. I came inside and looked up the business only to find he is the owner. I can't believe he carries himself in this manner and expects to get business. Well he quit pruning our tree which left it uneven and we don't have the tools to fix it, so we will be paying someone to finish the job. I just wanted to post this to let everyone know to beware if you consider hiring him. He might be nice to you at first to get your business but he has an extremely foul mouth and I myself DID NOT appreciate it.
