  When you are involved in an automobile or other types of a vehicle wreck, pull your vehicle to the side of the road in order to avoid further accidents. Always call the police. If you are able to, get the name of any witnesses as well as their addresses and phone numbers, the name of the driver or drivers you are involved with, their insurance information, and photographs of property damage. Do not make any statements regarding the accident to anyone except the police. Make sure you note any statements made by others involved in the accident. Note the weather and the terrain the time of day as well as the quality of light. Make a note if you are wearing your seat belts and at the other drivers were wearing theirs.
