Used to be a cool Irish Pub when it was Dougal Maguires. Now it's just sad, dirty & a little creepy. Do yourself a favor, drive on by this bar & go to The Irish Pub on Pleasantburg. You'll be glad you did.

This establishment looks cozy and inviting, but dont be fooled. Take it from someone who has been there repeatedly over a long period of time hoping things would improve. The restrooms are nasty, smelly and unsanitary. A urinal in the mens room hasnt worked in a long time, so they just keep putting something in it to try to mask the odor (theres no sign on it so guys keep using it). The food is average, most of it comes from a food service, and although bangers & mash remains on the menu they never have it. Its a not-so-Irish pub, including the musical entertainment, which has the same band every Friday night with a very short play list--if youve seen em once, youve seen all theyve got. Dont expect anyone to jump to wait on you. Employees sit around playing bar trivia and shuffle off to see about you when they feel like it. Wait staff and bartenders frequently vanish, to be found outside smoking or in the kitchen sitting around on food prep areas talking. Make a point to get
