I would not recommend Cochran's at this time for any jewelry repair or custom orders. I purchased my husband's wedding band at Cochran's, and everything was fine, as it was catalog ordered. However, the experience with my rings was quite the opposite. We asked Cochran's to custom make a wedding band to match my engagement ring. In the process of design, they changed jewelers. The new jeweler who actually made my band did not do what had been decided on and when he corrected it, he messed the entire thing up- TWICE. We got it right on the third time, just about a week before our wedding. Not only that, but when he re-sized my engagement ring down a 1/4 size, he thinned the shank down so much that I will have to get it replaced. When this happens, a jeweler takes ownership and corrects his mistake. However, as bad as it sounds, I do not want this particular jeweler touching my rings ever again. Unless Cochran's gets a new jeweler, I will not be back.

I highly recommend Cochran Jewelers. My husband purchased my bridal set from there and they have always been pleasant to work with and have high quality jewelry. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I would highly recommend Cochran's. I lgrew up in South Carolina but live in Washington DC now. I have also been in the store a few times. Not only did they help me get rid of an old engagement ring, but helped me put together another beautiful one for the RIGHT girl this time!:) They can do amazing things with a piece of jewelry if you need them to. You won't go wrong with a purchase here and they are extremely friendly as well. Thomas Brown is the best!

I highly recommend this store. They carry high quality jewerly and make you feel very comfortable while browsing through the store. There are no high pressure sales tactics. It's family owned and has been operating in downtown Greenville for many years.
