General Info

Andrew Burgess, MD is a native of Huntsville, Alabama and studied engineering and pre-med at the University of Alabama-Huntsville before receiving his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He completed his residency in Greenville, South Carolina in the Prisma Health System training in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine and is board certified in both fields. He has a passion for primary care and loves developing relationships with patients and families from a diverse range of backgrounds. Dr. Burgess is also a member of the clinical faculty at the USC School of Medicine Greenville and he considers it a privilege and honor to teach medical students. In his free time you will find him hiking, reading, writing, hanging out with his family and experimenting with different methods of brewing coffee.
