ABOUT JKF JKF Architecture specializes in planning, development and design for public and private clients in various markets including educational, commercial, governmental, institutional, historic and specialty residential. Based in in Greenville NC, JKF Architecture was founded in 1998 by John K. Farkas, AIA. Our commitment to excellence involves providing an unmatched level of personal and professional service to every client. We take time to listen and understand required goals and needs, and we are meticulously attentive to each phase of any given project. What's more, we strive to complete all work on time and within budget. JKF has a diverse portfolio of public agencies and private clientele throughout Eastern North Carolina. Our firm has successfully completed projects for East Carolina University ; Pitt and Beaufort County Community Colleges ; Hertford County schools ; the NC Wildlife Commission ; the cities of Greenville, Winterville, Ayden ; and more. As founder and principal of JKF Architecture, John K. Farkas' experience and vision has helped him cultivate an accomplished and award-winning firm. John's insight and leadership have enabled him to serve public and private clients with distinction for nearly two decades. A highly skilled architect, John is responsible for the firm's overall direction, and he is always personally involved with each project from start to finish. John's steadfast dedication is evidenced by his accessibility, forethought and commitment to developing enduring relationships. As a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, John is degreed in both Architecture and Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Architect in New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, and he is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. In addition, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has previously held numerous offices for both AIA North Carolina and the eastern section of AIANC. John is also a LEED Accredited Professional, further demonstrating his commitment to sustainable and responsible design. With 14 years of architectural project design experience, Mark Ziegler handles CADD design and development, technical production and CADD System Standards for JKF Architecture. In addition to his command of Architectural Desktop/AutoCad, he assists in project construction administration including shop drawing review and field observations. Mark holds a bachelor of science in Construction Management from East Carolina University and is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects. Architectural Project Designer Marcin Wojciechowski is responsible for CADD design and development for JKF Architecture's various projects. His expertise and proficiencies include Architectural Desktop/AutoCad and utilization of 3-D rendering techniques. Marcin is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects.
