Established in 1970, Delta Community Mental Health Services provides mental health care services in Washington, Bolivar, Sharkey and Issaquena counties in Mississippi. It provides individual, group, marital and family counseling services. The adult work activity programs offered by the center include classes in home management, social skills, academics, and community and home leisure time management. The center provides intensive care, chemical abuse and dependency services, and consultation and education for children with developmental disabilities. Additionally, it provides short-term inpatient care for individuals suffering from acute emotional disturbance. The center also provides respite care services that include assistance in daily living, nutritious meals and recreational activities. Delta Community Mental Health Services is located in Greenville and has branches in Cleveland and Rolling Fork, Miss.
